Things got really busy for our little lou and I from that moment on.. The summer started out with waking up at 6 am on Saturdays for Parades, putting on tons of makeup and fake eyelashes and doing her hair in an updo. When I got done every time I was amazed at how my daughter looked like a Las Vegas showgirl. Going to all the parades and watching my daughter strut her stuff was fun! Practices 4 times a week, and every Saturday, band camp, guard trip to St George, and working all the concessions we could to help pay for guard, took up most of the summer and fall.
